MY STORY
At The Flower Alchemist, I create refined, highly personalised floral design, with a focus on transforming venues and spaces into something memorable, atmospheric and completely individual to each couple.
My early career was spent in event management and client relations, where I discovered that one of the things I enjoy most is building relationships. I thrive on getting to know people, building trust, communicating clearly and finding the right solution for the person or project in front of me. Those skills have become just as important to my work as my creativity.
My career eventually brought me back to my roots. I returned to the Sussex countryside where I grew up, bringing my children up in the same beautiful surroundings that had shaped me. I was fortunate to grow up in a nurturing environment where we grew our own vegetables and flowers and had a real appreciation for nature, the seasons and sustainability.
I wanted to create a business that brought those values together with my creative side - a business where I could work with real flowers to create something beautiful, natural and genuinely meaningful for my clients.
So I created The Flower Alchemist

FOR FLOWERS
Real flowers are essential to my work. I love their individuality, movement and imperfection, and I am passionate about working with the seasons rather than against them.
I use flowers from local and British growers wherever possible, alongside flowers grown on our own flower farm, allowing the natural character of each season to influence my designs.

People before flowers
The relationship always comes first. I want to know what makes you tick, what you love and how you want your guests to feel – then turn those ideas into something even better than you imagined. I never impose a particular “look”.
Design with purpose
Every arrangement has a reason for being there. I think about how flowers change a space and work alongside the architecture, tables and lighting. I don’t just put flowers into a venue – I use them to transform it.
The beauty of the season
Seasonal flowers have character, movement and individuality, and I would much rather embrace those qualities than make every wedding look the same. Growing my own keeps me connected to where my flowers come from.
Do what you say you will do
Weddings have a lot of moving parts. From managing your budget and ordering flowers to liaising with venues and getting everything right on the day, you can count on me to be organised, honest and dependable.
Leave a lasting impression
Ultimately, I want people to remember how your wedding felt – walking into a room filled with flowers, seeing your bouquet for the first time, sitting down at a beautifully considered table.
